Nature enthusiasts are able to enjoy the green nature by having a walk on the nature path of about 7 km.
Dubai’s Largest Public Park Offers 45 Sports Grounds
“This park is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to expand the emirate’s green spaces. The project will establish the largest public park in Dubai and will meet the highest levels of sustainability while raising environmental awareness among its visitors. I also want to take this opportunity to commend the continued cooperation between Dubai’s public sector entities and local developers, which together enhance Dubai’s global reputation as a premier destination to live, work and visit, through projects such as these.” said Eng. Hussain Lootah, the Director General of Dubai Municipality.

Parents will be spoilt for choice: They are invited to choose one of the 55 playgrounds for their children. The same applies to sportspeople due to the 45 sports grounds. Furthermore, five event spaces, retail spaces, coffeehouses, and restaurants might ensure optimal recovery and entertainment.
Moreover, along with the leisure amenities, its huge amount of natural landscape, and the 15,000 trees, a clean on-site power generation will provide electricity for the everywhere available Wi-Fi system and other energy consumers.

“In addition to enhancing the natural landscape and attracting tourists, every major city, including New York, London and Singapore, has an iconic park that reflects its cultural and social identity,” says Ahmad Bin Byat, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Dubai Holding. “The provision of green, open spaces play a pivotal role in elevating the quality of life among residents, creating a desire to explore new pursuits and enjoy favourite pastimes. In addition, such parks act as important links between different parts of the wider city, positioning them as popular destinations that draw people together. The development of this park, in partnership with Dubai Municipality, aims to highlight Dubai’s remarkable landscapes and position it among the most prominent global cities.”
Announced in 2003, the entertainment complex Dubailand is one of the most ambitious leisure projects worldwide. After a project freeze between 2008 and 2013, the 278 km2 dessert area with its 45 major projects slowly takes shape. It is planned to be the world’s largest cluster of theme parks.
