In first half of this year, the ministry’s enterprises booked revenues at about VNĐ76.1 trillion (US$3.45 billion) while the rate of urban and rural construction hit 100 percent, and urbanisation nearly 35.7 percent of their respective targets for the period.
BASF OPENS NEW CONCRETE ADMIXTURE PLANT IN BACGIANG VIETNAM
Hanoi, Vietnam – May 2, 2016 – BASF inaugurated its new production plant for concrete admixtures in the northern province of BắcGiang, Vietnam. The new plant will allow BASF to better meet the increasing demands for high quality construction chemicals products in Vietnam.
“The new plant enhances our flexibility to serve our customers with a timely supply and shorter lead times, especially in the northern part of Vietnam,” said Christian Mombaur, head of Construction Chemicals Asia Pacific, BASF. “Northern Vietnam is continuing its path of rapid urbanization and industrialization. Our new BắcGiang plant will enable us to stay closer to our customers and offer solutions to meet the growing demands in specialized construction chemicals, especially for building multi-story buildings and long-lasting infrastructure construction projects.”
Located at the VănTrung Industrial Park in BắcGiang province, the plant is equipped with production units, a laboratory for product quality control as well as warehousing facilities. There, BASF produces both standard and custom-made performance admixtures from the MasterGlenium® product line under the Master Builders Solutions® brand. The company’s construction chemicals have been used in many popular construction projects such as as the NộiBài T2 Airport and the NhậtTân Bridge.
