UN member states have time till 2030 to achieve sustainable development goals

Exactly 17 main goals with 169 sustainable development goals were adopted at the opening of the Sustainable Development Summit 2015 in New York. To achieve these goals member states have time till 2030. Among other main goals, 13 climate goals, seven goals for affordable and clean energy, six goals for clean water and sanitation and eleven goals for sustainable cities and communities have been adopted. A short overview in the following:
Sustainable cities and communities

- Water resources management at all levels
- Protection and restorement of all water-related ecosystems
Affordable and clean energy
